Optimizing Your Store

Energy efficiency is becoming a more important consideration as energy costs and other operational costs steadily increase. In order to help your company improve its bottom line, Larkin would like to suggest the following energy conservation measures that could greatly decrease energy costs:

  • When possible, open blinds and shades to make greater use of natural lighting.
  • Ensure that all lights, computers, scanners, printers and other devices are turned off when not in use for extended periods of time – such as at night or over weekends.
  • Install motion-activated lighting in rooms that are used infrequently – such as office restrooms.
  • Change and/or clean air conditioner filters routinely.
  • Purchase only refrigeration products that clearly display the Energy Solutions® logo.
